We were at a scenic lookout, waiting to photograph the sunset, when we noticed an object approaching from the east. It traveled right in front of us towards the west. To our amazement, the object flew into the smoke plume coming from a chimney stack, moved up through the smoke, and then exited, continuing on its way. We managed to snap a single photograph using a Ricoh 35mm camera with a 70/210mm zoom lens. The photo shows the object looking like a silver-foil, teddy bear-shaped thing. We estimated it to be about the size of a small car. The whole sighting lasted a few minutes.
