Approx 1pm, bright daylight, sky spotted with stormclouds. I was driving north on the brucey, just after merging from the M1.
I saw weird dark sphere in the distance, several k’s away, just under the storm clouds. I got really excited but had to focus on driving safety. Then it started moving up and to the right, and disappeared into nothing pretty quickly in cloud.
Could have been helicopter, defs not a plane I don’t think. But I can’t imagine a helicopter flying into a storm cloud. Definitely felt really transfixed watching it.
