I was driving from Camooweal to Mount Isa when, starting around 12:15 am and continuing until daybreak, I noticed unusual lights in the sky following me. The lights were part of an object with a distinct shape, shrouded in a misty haze. It remained visible the entire time, staying to the right of my vehicle even as I navigated bends in the road, sometimes coming very close. The object was between 50 and 100 meters long and got as close as 200 meters from me, with a large light on its underside. I didn’t feel inclined to stop until I finally pulled into a service station outside Mount Isa. There, the attendant told me, “It happens all the time.”
