Two of us were in a house in the suburb of Manoora when the strange incident occurred. I noticed a sudden “bright, white flash” outside behind a tree and immediately drew the attention of the second witness. Positioned near a window, they quickly caught sight of what I had seen—a “bright round, orange light” moving swiftly from behind the tree, streaking across our view towards the south-east.
From our perspective, the object seemed to be hovering approximately 400 yards from the house, lingering over vacant land at an estimated altitude of about 500 feet. The sight of this unusual light moving so swiftly across the sky left us both bewildered and intrigued.
Another witness, located roughly two kilometers away, also reported seeing the same light, corroborating our experience.
Despite our varying viewpoints and distances from the object, none of us had the light in view for more than four seconds. Moreover, there were no aircraft visible in the vicinity during the sighting. The object appeared as a clearly defined, round light.
