I live on the Mid North Coast, I have lived here for about 5 years. Since I have lived here there have been three weird things happen, most recently, late yesterday afternoon.
The first one was not long after we moved in, being a new house I would get up in the middle of the night to check things out, I don’t know why but I didn’t do it again after I went to the back door stood there and looked out, I saw a blue light moving across the field, my mind told me it was a light from a police car, it also told me a police car shouldn’t be driving in a cow paddock so I looked for the brake lights, none, nothing else but the blue light moving. this took seconds, I was out of there and back in bed.

The second would be my husbands sighting of black smoke, he has seen it twice and is a non believer, for him to tell me this was a big deal and it scared me. It was seen in the cow paddock. I tried to research possibilities but all I could find was a volcanic vent releasing smoke, there is no vent. I would like to know more about the black smoke.

Yesterday’s was really weird, three of us saw it, out in the cow paddock.
We are burning, a fire broke out 10km away on the other side of the escarpment. the wind was blowing in a Easterly direction towards us.
This was like a mini twister, the twister part was see through, I could see the air disturbance but it was clear, white smoke was sitting in (sort of) the top funnel part, not spinning but looking like a cloud with tentacles, sounds weird but it’s the only way I can describe it. This thing did not move with the wind, it travelled to the south, I watched it until it disappeared from view.
I told my husband, he suggested it was smoke sucked out of the atmosphere, good point but that wasn’t it, there was no smoke around, it was a clear day, as I said this would of had to travel 10 kms over an escarpment holding this smoke, I don’t think so.

If I go back to about 1990 this is were the Helier like synchronicities begin. I lived in Manly, I saw a blue light appear in the kitchen, it moved across the room to an open window exited and then accelerated away.
About 1993 I lived near Penrith in a haunted town house, a few stories there.
Then two houses in St Mary’s that had weird things happen in, I moved from a house in StMarys to here. The house I moved from had to be sold.

Previous to the decision to sell and get out of Sydney I had witnessed with my eyes magazines falling off a bookshelf, for no reason, they were all stored in a neat tight fashion, they were not half way off or drooped over, they moved by themselves.
I picked them up, they were Australian family history magazines, not the English ones I had stored next to them. That’s ok, forgot about that, moved on with life.

Selling time I made a deadline, we didn’t meet the first one, I set a second one and said if it’s not ready I don’t care, we are selling. For the weeks leading up to the deadline I notice the digital clock in the bedroom had jumped forward by 15 minutes, re set the correct time, happened again, this went on three or four times, eventually I told my husband to unplug it because it’s faulty.

We move, get here, we don’t have a clock, I don’t throw stuff out, so I asked my husband to plug in the dodgy clock to see how it goes, not a problem, no jumping forward and I’m still using the clock.

It was a message to hurry up, the house went on the market on the date I set, it sold that day. We picked where we live off a map, had never been here before.
We were meant to be here, we had a list of about 10 houses , all but three were crossed off for various reasons, all three where in Lansdowne.

An ancestor of mine that is a mystery to me is buried an hour away from where I live now, I wonder if it was her guiding me here, researching family history I speak the ancestors names, I think I have woken her.
