Over the Easter Weekend, either Sunday or Monday night, I was walking around Strathpine shopping centre. Not inside the shopping centre, but around it. I usually do this during the day, but because it had been raining, I decided to do it at night. It’s just a bit of exercise I regularly engage in. At the Woolworths end of the shopping centre, there is a car park that is fenced off (about 8/10ft high) from an area of long grass, which extends for about 20/30 meters and then leads to bushland, I believe.
The grass is really high, I would estimate about 6 feet. As I was walking towards the end facing the long grass, about to turn right to walk through the car park, I heard movement in the long grass. The area is actually well-lit during the night because of the car park lights. Whatever it was, it was on four legs and it bounded away towards the bush. I want to use the word “majestic” to describe how it bounded. It reminded me of the action of a deer jumping. It had hair and I could see the top half of it, even though it was 6-foot-high grass. The one aspect I saw clearly was its head; it was round. I startled it and it bounded away out of sight. It happened in 1/2 seconds. It was big, wide, but I never saw its face. However, there was something there.
I have been back during the day, but I won’t go back at night alone. If you want to ever see the area, I am happy to show you anytime. I am also happy to have a chat with you whenever you would like. It’s probably better to message me, and I’ll call you, as I am studying and working, I miss a lot of calls these days. I have another story as well, but I didn’t see anything that time; I heard it. And what I heard actually makes me believe more than what I saw that night at the shopping centre.
I’m not interested in misleading anyone. I believe, and always will, that truth is the most important value we have. I’ve been YouTubing a lot since that night, finding videos of alleged creatures, as they say. It was the head that stood out. There isn’t any animal that has a human head.
