I still vividly recall my first encounters with the paranormal, experiences that left an indelible mark on my memory. It was in Greenacre, NSW, where the inexplicable unfolded before my very eyes.
One afternoon, as I walked through the carport accompanied by my mother and brother, an eerie silence descended upon us. Suddenly, there he was—a young, gray, transparent figure, clad in military attire, seated on our front doorstep. His head was bowed between his knees, and a dog tag hung from his neck, catching the sunlight and reflecting it into my eyes. It was a moment frozen in time, etched into my consciousness.
The second encounter took place in the same location, but this time, upstairs in my brother’s room. Awakening to the gentle caress of warm sunlight on my face, I gazed towards the window to find a figure standing in the doorway. She resembled an ethereal being, almost witch-like in appearance, yet solid and real, bathed in color. I watched her intently for what felt like an eternity, roughly 15 seconds, before darkness enveloped the room, and she vanished into thin air. It struck me then, as the sun typically rose on the opposite side of the house—this was an encounter beyond the ordinary.
These experiences have stayed with me, challenging my perceptions of reality and inviting me to explore the mysteries that lie beyond the realm of the known. Though unsettling at times, they’ve also sparked a curiosity within me, driving me to seek understanding in the face of the inexplicable.
